North American Production Sharing, Inc. is seeking an experienced procurement professional to plan and purchase materials for new product introductions across multiple brands. The role collaborates with PMO, Sourcing, and Engineering to establish best practices in procurement strategies.

Responsibilities include placing and tracking POs, ensuring on-time delivery, capacity planning, managing subcontracting for NPIs, monitoring KPIs, and resolving supply issues to meet launch timelines.

Formación

• Experience in international supply chain management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3+ years of procurement/sourcing experience.
• Working knowledge of international trade.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of MRP, inventory control, forecasting, RFQ/RFP/RFI processes.

This role will execute and monitor the planning and purchasing process for new products across a multi brand platform. The role will work closely with the Sourcing teams, PMO teams and Engineering teams on establishing best practices in procurement strategies of new products.

Responsibilities:

• Procures supplies, materials, services, tooling, and equipment for delivery at specified time or location.
• Places and updates purchase orders for NPI launches, manages delivery of products and ensures timely delivery to eliminate potential for backorders and stockouts.
• Works with the PMO team to update schedule on deliveries to ensure launch timelines can be achieved.
• Works with the Sourcing specialist on capacity planning and equipment requirements.
• Manages any subcontracting process related to NPI launches.
• Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of materials through the fulfillment cycle.
• Advises team of any actual or potential material shortages. Works with Sourcing and Engineering to resolve any potential issue that may impact launch dates.
• Ensures suppliers have complete product information to meet product quality standards and deliveries for production and assists with the PPAP process.
• Monitors performance of buyer KPIs and develops/executes improvement actions.
• Tracks individual complete and on-time delivery (COT) performance, assigns reason codes for order fulfillment failures, and drives actions to improve future performance for assigned commodities.
• Tracks and resolves material review board (MRB) parts and resolves supplier non-conformances and cost recovery.

Qualifications

• Experience in international supply chain management, or equivalent education.
• Minimum 3+ years of procurement experience in Buying/Sourcing.
• Working knowledge of international trade.
• BA/BS degree in Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience working with ERP systems or equivalent knowledge.
• Knowledge of material requirement planning, inventory control techniques, forecasting, production planning, RFQ, RFP, and RFI processes.
