Sovos is hiring a Data Analyst in Mexico City to build forecasting models, deploy LLM pipelines, and surface insights for global tax-compliance operations. The role emphasizes turning complex outputs into clear, leadership-ready narratives and collaborating with analytics engineers to ensure clean data.

You will work with Prophet, text embeddings, and Snowflake to forecast staffing and case volume, and you will translate results for non-technical stakeholders.

Formación

• 3–5 years in a data analyst, ML analyst, or applied data science role.
• Strong Python skills across data cleaning, transformation, and visualization.
• Hands-on experience with Prophet or equivalent time-series forecasting library.
• Experience applying LLMs via API for classification tasks, including prompts.
• Familiarity with text embeddings and vector databases (Pinecone, Snowflake Cortex, etc).
• Solid SQL for analysis (Snowflake preferred).
• Ability to communicate model outputs to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain forecasting models for case volume, staffing, and utilization.
• Design and maintain LLM classification pipelines for CSAT, ticket routing, and escalation flags.
• Develop and maintain text embedding and vector search workflows for semantic matching.
• Write Python scripts for data cleaning, transformation, and visualization.
• Query Snowflake to answer ad hoc business questions and validate outputs.
• Translate ML outputs into leadership-ready narratives for ops managers.
• Partner with Analytics Engineer to ensure clean data inputs for models.
