Job summary

Impact Advisors Mexico is seeking an experienced Machine Learning/AI Engineer to design and deploy large-scale ML solutions for clients. You will own strategy and implementation, building LLM workflows and ensuring secure deployment within client organizations.

You will work with cross-functional teams to tackle complex business challenges, implement scalable data pipelines, and maintain production readiness while staying current with AI advances.

Qualifications

• English communication with U.S.-based stakeholders is required.
• 2+ years building and shipping LLM applications in production.
• 2+ years in client-facing technical roles.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with LLM patterns: tool use, RAG, structured outputs, multi-step agents.
• Proficiency in at least one language, Python preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy ML models to solve real-world problems and build AI-driven apps.
• Architect LLM systems connecting tools, data sources, and APIs with MCP awareness.
• Assess and reduce attack surface of LLM apps; implement guardrails and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business challenges with AI.
• Implement scalable data pipelines and optimize model performance for production.
• Stay updated on ML/AI advances and participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Monitor deployed models to ensure ongoing value delivery within client environments.
