Job summary

Tether Ltd. is seeking a Program Manager with a solid mining background to lead and coordinate strategic initiatives across Central America. You will oversee exploration, studies, permitting, and operational readiness, while aligning with corporate objectives and ESG commitments.

You will manage cross-functional teams, engage with government authorities and local communities, and drive governance, budgets, and reporting across multi-project portfolios.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in mining with 3–5 years managing complex programs or multi-project portfolios.
• PM certification (PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
• Experience with government authorities, regulators, and local communities, ideally in Latin America.
• Track record budgeting, scheduling, and leading multidisciplinary teams in mining environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program management for mining initiatives in Central America across exploration, studies, permitting, and readiness.
• Define scope, objectives, milestones, budgets, and resources aligned to strategy.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (geology, engineering, env, legal, finance, community relations) and external consultants.
• Manage relationships with government authorities and regulators to advance permits and policy engagement.
• Drive community and stakeholder engagement programs aligned with ESG commitments.
• Monitor risks, dependencies, and critical path; escalate issues to the steering committee.
• Establish governance, reporting cadences, and KPIs; produce executive updates.
• Oversee budgets, capex tracking, and vendor/contract management.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, mining standards, and HSE requirements.
