Buckland is seeking a Mexican Customer Service Representative (Import Air Operations) to manage documentation, monitor customs releases for air shipments, and coordinate inbound and outbound air imports/exports. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely shipment processing.

The candidate will handle multiple ports, maintain reports, and collaborate with Buckland’s Mexico broker portfolio.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years in custom brokerage or logistics
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Spanish/English bilingual is a plus
• Strong organization, time management and attention to detail
• Experience with Mexican foreign trade legislation preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Responsabilidades

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers by handling import/export documentation.
• Set up Mexican IOR file with Buckland MX broker portfolio partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican regulations and update forms accordingly.
• Coordinate shipments for customs clearance via air, across multiple ports as required.
• Communicate, delegate, and expedite shipment clearance according to client priorities.
• Support compliance and monitor operations per specified types (V1, RT, F4, A3).
• Plan daily tasks efficiently, prioritize activities, and drive warehouse/office improvements.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on Air shipment status.
• Compile and integrate Shipment summaries for liquidation reports.
• Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Mexican Customer Service Representative (Import Air Operations)

This position is responsible for the handling of the documentation preparation, monitoring and coordinating of customs release of shipments for the import of commercial goods into Mexico and Mexican exports into the rest of the world in accordance with Mexican Customs Regulations.

You will be responsible

• To provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers in acquiring the proper import/export documentation.
• Facilitate set up of Mexican IOR file with Buckland MX broker Portfolio Partnership.
• Integrate Legal MX files on IOR and update forms in compliance on Mexican regulations early on calendar year.
• Coordinate all shipments for customs clearance on timely fashion and ensure process flow based on best practices per shipment type: Air.
• Communicate, delegate and expedite shipment clearance through multiple ports with Buckland MX Vendors in accordance on client’s priorities and instructions.
• Assist on Compliance and monitor operations per types: V1, RT, F4, A3 and other as requested.
• Coordinate daily tasks in an efficient manner; prioritize activities and define urgent process reviews for Warehouse and office improvement.
• Completion of mid to high volume shipment clearance for Air.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports based on shipment status for Air shipments.
• Integrate Summary Shipment for Liquidation Box Reports.
• Other duties or projects as assigned.

What We Need From You

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in custom brokerage or logistics experience.
• Intermediate MS Office knowledge.
• High level of organization, time management and attention to detail.
• Completion of complex entries.
• Mexican Legislation in Foreign Trade Business knowledge.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.
• Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times.
