Oferta confidencial in Mexicali seeks a Logistics Coordinator to support local teams in import/export operations and customs processes. You will coordinate freight forwarders and brokers, schedule shipments, and ensure cost-effective logistics solutions.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish, strong problem solving, and leadership abilities. You will maintain documentation, monitor shipments, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in International Trade and Customs or related.
• 1–2 years in Logistics & Customs.

Responsabilidades

• Support Sales team to set up system entries for customs accounts and pedimentos.
• Schedule shipments for import/export by coordinating freight forwarder, broker, and teams.
• Request COO/NAFTA for customers.
• Support local team to solve customs issues with customers and suppliers.
• Shipments tracking (land, air & ocean) until delivery.
• Optimize resources for cost reduction on logistics, imports and export expenses.
• Review billing from service suppliers (customs broker, freight, forwarder) and follow up payments.
• Coordinate customs customer team and brokers on transfer operations.
• Supervise and deliver required documentation and locks for export loads.
• Legal filing maintenance pertaining SAT, certifications and customer paperwork.
• IMMEX compliance.
• Make decisions within scope; know when to seek guidance.
• Create policies or procedures for logistics activities.
• Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements.
• Train shipping personnel on packing schemes and required paperwork.
• Maintain metrics, reports, process docs, service logs, or safety records.
• Implement customer-specific reporting or transportation metrics.
• Resolve transport, logistics, import/export issues or customer problems.

1. 1. Support Sales local team to set up within system (virtual pedimentos), control and maintenance customs customer accounts.
2. 2. Schedule shipments for import & export operations by coordinating freight forwarder, Customs Broker agency and company teams to meet deliveries with the most cost effective possible.
3. 3. Request COO/NAFTA for customers.
4. 4. Support local team to solve customs issues with customers and suppliers.
