Parker Hannifin is seeking an Import-Export Coordinator in Toluca to support materials planning, purchasing execution, and import/export coordination. The role collaborates with warehouse, quality, production, customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure materials are available, compliant, and delivered on time.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3-5 years in import/export coordination, materials planning, purchasing, logistics, or related roles; passport/visa required.
  • Experience with customs clearance processes, brokers, documentation, and shipment tracking.
  • Experience using ERP systems and maintaining planning parameters, replenishment levels, and data.

Responsabilidades

  • Maintain inventory levels for stock and non-stock products to support production and service levels.
  • Generate, place, and expedite purchase orders; ensure on-time supplier follow-up and delivery.
  • Track shipments from origin to plant receipt; identify risks and required actions to protect material availability.
  • Coordinate import/export activities with customs brokers, carriers, and internal teams for timely clearance.
  • Prepare and provide import/export documentation in line with requirements and processes.
  • Communicate material arrival times, shipment status, risks, and delivery commitments to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate transportation options balancing quality, cost, timing, and reliability for operations.
  • Maintain accurate ERP data including replenishment levels and inventory information.
  • Follow up on shortages or defective materials with warehouse, quality, and suppliers.
  • Collaborate across production, warehouse, quality, and customer service to resolve issues quickly.

Position Summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an Import-Export Coordinator to support materials planning, purchasing execution, import/export coordination, inventory accuracy, and customer delivery performance. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can coordinate across warehouse, quality, production, customer service, customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure materials are available, compliant, and delivered on time.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels for stock and non-stock products to support production, customer demand, and service level requirements.
  • Generate, place, and expedite purchase orders, ensuring timely supplier follow-up and on-time delivery.
  • Track shipments from origin to plant receipt, proactively identifying risks, delays, and required actions to protect material availability.
  • Coordinate import and export activities by communicating with customs brokers, carriers, and internal teams to support accurate and timely customs clearance.
  • Prepare, review, and provide import/export documentation in alignment with applicable requirements and internal processes.
  • Communicate material arrival times, shipment status, supply risks, and delivery commitments to Customer Service and other key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate transportation options by balancing quality, cost, timing, and reliability to support operational and customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate ERP and planning data, including replenishment levels, planning parameters, and inventory-related information.
  • Follow up on claims for shortages or defective materials in coordination with warehouse, quality, suppliers, and carriers.
  • Collaborate with production, warehouse, quality, customer service, suppliers, carriers, and brokers, following standard work and escalation processes to resolve issues quickly.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline with a focus or demonstrated experience relevant to our business, including manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, operations, or industrial processes; equivalent experience will also be considered..
  • 3-5 years of experience in import/export coordination, materials planning, purchasing, logistics, inventory planning, expediting, or materials coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Recent graduates will not be considered. Valid passport and visa required.
  • Working knowledge of customs clearance processes, broker coordination, import/export documentation, transportation coordination, and shipment tracking.
  • Experience using ERP systems and maintaining planning parameters, replenishment levels, and inventory control data.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to work with data to support tracking, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Ability to follow up on purchase orders, expedite materials, manage delivery risks, and communicate clearly with suppliers, carriers, brokers, and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, urgent material needs, and time-sensitive customs or delivery requirements.
  • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and escalation.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to on-time delivery, compliance, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting OEM customers or manufacturing operations is a plus.
