Flex North seeks a Mes support specialist to join our IT Operations team. You will analyze complex business problems and design automated solutions to improve manufacturing processes, reporting to the IT Operations Manager.

The role requires SQL and JSON proficiency, English communication skills, and experience resolving incidents at multiple levels, with on-site presence in Jalisco, Mexico. Competitive benefits are offered.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Proficient in SQL, including writing queries, analyzing data, troubleshooting issues, and supporting manufacturing systems
• Experience working with JSON for system integrations, data interchange, API communications, and application support
• Providing solutions to incidents on second and third functional technical level
• Developing and communicating action plans for the implementation of permanent solutions to manufacturing problems
• Plan to authorize and implement changes in floor control systems
• Managing schedules and permits of support engineers’ incidents
• Manage and support IT applications and propose new tools for such purposes
• Intermedia/ Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)

• To diagnose quality problems of application data.
• Define, plan and implement preventive actions to avoid future incidents of known problems by the same source.
• Prioritize and resolve support incidents generated in IT services
• Ensuring the availability of floor control systems
• Scale and ensure solving problems that cannot be resolved to the service provider
• Install and update applications on servers that provide services to manufacturing
• Install in production environments software packages stuck to the rules
• Design, develop and implement tools that make efficient manufacturing processes of the business
• Documenting troubleshooting on a knowledge base
• Execute proactive tasks to prevent impact on IT systems
• Ensure proper registration of incidents of systems and their solution
• Ensure stock levels needed for day to day
• Ensure staff attendance needed on site to support day to day

Reporting to the IT Operations Manager the Mes support Responsible for analyzing complex business problems in order to solve them with automated systems and will also be responsible for designed details for automated systems in order to make them more efficient. Supporting the IT system development projects team for the business, responsible for administering and maintaining the organization’s information systems to ensure that they function reliably and in accordance with user needs.

What a typical day looks like:

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
