Flex is seeking a Linux Systems Analyst to support our Guadalajara North Campus IT team. You will monitor, optimize, and secure Linux server infrastructure while collaborating with global colleagues to deliver reliable services.

The role emphasizes automation, scripting, incident resolution, and robust documentation, with opportunities to work on migrations and cloud integrations while growing technical and communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Basic to intermediate experience administering Linux operating systems in a corporate environment.
• Knowledge of Linux distributions such as RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or Oracle Linux.
• Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Shell Scripting.
• Knowledge of system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate within a global team.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
• Familiarity with security best practices, patch management, and access control.
• Intermediate to Advanced English level.

Responsabilidades

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Analyst, Linux Systems located in Guadalajara North Campus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize Linux server infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Research, analyze, and resolve complex system issues while providing technical support to internal users and business teams.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Linux operating systems, applications, and supporting infrastructure.
• Implement system enhancements, patches, and security updates following corporate standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with global IT teams on infrastructure projects, system migrations, and technology implementations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, system configurations, and operational guidelines.
• Participate in troubleshooting activities, root cause analysis, and incident resolution to ensure business continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Basic to intermediate experience administering Linux operating systems in a corporate environment.
• Knowledge of Linux distributions such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, Ubuntu, or Oracle Linux.
• Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Shell Scripting.
• Knowledge of system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively within a global team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Linux Administrator, Linux Analyst, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
• Experience managing Linux servers in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of VMware, Hyper‑V, or cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with security best practices, patch management, and access control.
• Intermediate to Advanced English level.
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
