ABB is seeking a MES Champion/Modeler to support MES implementation in Juarez, Nuevo Leon. You will act as the local technical and functional reference for MES, interfacing with Global MES and leading MES projects from requirements through deployment.

The role requires strong backend development skills, experience with MES and ERP systems, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders while traveling as needed. Fluency in English is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in information management, computer systems or related field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or computer science roles.
• Experience with MES and ERP systems; SAP preferred.
• Backend development experience on mid-sized projects.
• Strong backend programming skills and understanding of discrete manufacturing.
• Able to travel internationally if needed; fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Apply Agile methodologies to organize local MES development activities.
• Manage sprint backlog, priorities, planning and follow-up of development tasks.
• Translate factory requirements into MES solutions.
• Perform MES modelling and configuration per global standards.
• Lead local MES projects from requirements through deployment.
• Coordinate local MES team and technical contributors.
• Monitor progress, risks, dependencies and resources.
• Coordinate development, testing, deployment and issue resolution.
• Promote documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
