Johnson Controls, Inc. in Mexico seeks a Programming Engineer to manage and implement MES and developer applications on the production floor, ensuring transactions optimize plant operations with accuracy and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with MES developers, coordinate with Plant Leads and COE teams, document procedures, mentor peers, and support security and 5S practices while integrating SAP ERP and SQL Server-based systems.

Formación

• Databases: SQL Server.
• ERP: SAP (RFC, BAPIs, queries, transactions).
• Effective communication: ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Teamwork: collaboration with different areas and teams to achieve common goals.
• Leadership: ability to coordinate projects, guide teams and foster a positive environment.
• Problem solving: analytical ability to identify problems and propose efficient solutions.
• Time management: organization and prioritization of tasks to meet deadlines.
• Adaptability: flexibility to proactively face changes and new technologies.
• Critical thinking: objective evaluation of situations to make informed decisions
• Programming Engineer or similar
• English > 80 %.
• Minimum of two years of experience develop software

Responsabilidades

• Manage and implement MES and developer apps on production floor.
• Ensure transactions follow up to optimize plant operations.
• Liaise between Plant Leads and system developers.
• Implement applications on production using C#, .NET, JavaScript, Angular and jQuery.
• Test and debug developed applications with software developers.
• Document procedures and create user manuals.
• Provide mentoring to other developers.
• Work with MES developers and COE TEAM in Transformation Activities.
• Support Plant Leads of existing and new plant applications.
• Implement new applications and changes on current systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for production systems.
