Job summary

Panasonic Corporation of North America in Mexico is seeking an Engineer II to support design, development, validation, transfer, and implementation of engineering solutions for mechanical refrigeration products and related applications.

You will independently manage small to medium projects, provide technical support for product development, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive problem-solving and project execution. Occasional travel up to 10% and off-shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good technical communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and work off-shift hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage small to medium-sized engineering projects and support larger initiatives.
• Develop, validate, and implement engineering solutions for refrigeration products.
• Support ECN, BOM, RFQ, design reviews, and product validation activities.
• Analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Engage with customers and suppliers as required.
• Use Teamcenter, Solid Edge, or similar software for design/documentation.
• Prepare analyses and project updates for stakeholders.
• Support cost reduction, efficiency, and product performance initiatives.
• Assist in training and mentoring entry-level engineers.
