Vertiv Group Corporation in Mexico is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support lead engineers in creating 3D parts, assembly CAD models, 2D drawings and BOMs for Liquid Cooling products. The role requires self-motivation and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will work with Creo, PLM/PDM, and CAD documentation, contribute to prototypes, validation, and improvements, and interact with suppliers while ensuring safety and quality in HVAC-related systems.

Formación

• Mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Sheet metal design experience.
• Mechanical assembly experience.
• Welding and brazing familiarity.
• Piping knowledge.
• +3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably HVAC or refrigeration.
• CAD experience, medium to expert; PTC Creo preferred.
• Experience with PLM/PDM and BOM management.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R systems and components.
• Good English communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the support of Liquid Cooling products updating sheet metal parts and HVAC piping including refrigerant and hydraulic.
• Create and maintain 3D assembly models in Creo.
• Develop 3D parts and create required documentations 2D drawings or 3D Model Based Definitions (PVZ’s).
• Prepare and maintain BOM.
• Collaborate with NPDI, Electrical, Mechanicals and thermal engineers to develop new solutions for Liquid cooling products.
• Select materials and hardware; communicate with internal and external suppliers.
• Support prototype builds and validation testing, manufacturing, quality issues and improvements.
