Vertiv in Monterrey seeks an intermediate hardware engineer focused on liquid cooling projects. You will design new low‑voltage electrical enclosures and perform harness design with schematic capture and 3D wiring models inside equipment.

This role requires collaborating with mechanical, firmware, and software teams, selecting compliant components, and documenting designs and requirements. Fluency in English is required, with travel up to 10%.

Formación

• 5 years of experience in a hardware development role.
• 5 years using PLM or product documentation tools.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in writing functional requirements and documenting designs.
• Experience with CREO Schematics or other schematic capture tools.
• Experience with DMM, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other debug tools.
• Ability to execute on schedules for hardware board development lifecycles.
• Able to collaborate in R&D documents (SRS, FRS, DFMEA)
• Ability to debug, validate, and develop manufacturing tests.
• Design for testability and manufacturability.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design new and low voltage electrical enclosures.
• Harness Design, schematic creation and 3D modeling of wiring and cabling inside equipment.
• Experience with CREO Cabling module is a preferred.
• Selection of appropriate electrical components that meet agency requirements (UL, NEC, CSA, CE).
• Collaborates with other groups, including Mech Engineers, firmware & software developers, system test, customer support, and manufacturing.
