Vertiv Co in Monterrey is seeking an experienced Thermal Design Engineer to select refrigeration and HVAC components and develop 3D models and 2D drawings for chilled water systems. This role involves working with Creo and Solid Edge, performing piping design, and providing engineering support across manufacturing and quality teams.

Candidates should have 7+ years in HVAC component selection, be fluent in English, and enjoy solving complex thermal problems with initiative and teamwork.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in selecting refrigeration and HVAC components.
• Proficiency with CREO, Solid Edge or equivalent CAD system.
• Self-starter with ability to solve problems and deliver results.
• Ability to read, interpret and produce technical drawings (ASME Y14.5).
• Fluency in English (read, write, speak).
• Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Responsabilidades

• Select refrigeration and HVAC components (compressors, EEVs, heat exchangers, etc.).
• Create reliable 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical components using Creo and Solid Edge; pipe modeling expertise desired.
• Provide engineering support to manufacturing during testing and production.
• Contribute to multiple projects and switch tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to fulfill component selections.
• May oversee and advise on design of other engineers.
