Job summary

Corning Inc. in Reynosa, MX, seeks an engineer to lead the design and development of fixtures, tooling, and semi- automated equipment for NPI and manufacturing.

You will translate requirements into scalable machine designs and drive projects from concept through validation to production. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions that improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing, fixture design, or equipment development.
• Strong English skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement fixture, tooling, and semi-automated equipment solutions for NPI and manufacturing.
• Lead projects from concept through validation to production deployment.
• Resolve engineering and process challenges using data-driven methods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver safe, efficient, cost-effective solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and labor productivity through fixture and automation.
