Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking an Engineering Project Manager in Reynosa to lead process improvements and equipment design across manufacturing lines. You will translate business priorities into practical engineering solutions that boost productivity, safety, quality, and cost performance.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and suppliers, guiding projects from opportunity to startup and sustained results.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
At least 10 years of project management or leadership experience in manufacturing.
At least 5 years of leading projects in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience managing projects from opportunity definition to implementation.
Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management.
Willingness to travel up to 25% to domestic and international sites.

Responsibilities

Identify productivity opportunities and define project objectives, budgets, and schedules.
Lead cross-site teams through design reviews, prototyping, testing, and implementation.
Provide technical leadership for process improvements and equipment design.
Manage project scope, cost, schedule, risks, and resources, communicating progress to stakeholders.
Track performance against business cases and drive productivity improvements.
