FORVIA HELLA in India seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer in New Projects to drive development of complex production equipment and processes. You will coordinate ME activities, plan capacity and tooling, and lead cross-functional teams to meet project KPIs while ensuring robust manufacturing methods and cost efficiency.

The role emphasizes PDCA, PPAP, ECN management, and strong collaboration with global stakeholders to achieve launch readiness and continuous improvement.

Formación

• University degree is required with automotive experience and leadership potential.
• Experience in automotive development and NPI preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost optimization.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and approve new/complex production equipment aligned with product development.
• Define manufacturing sequences, capacities, and equipment data for production planning.
• Lead ME team, track project KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate change management (ECN) and PPAP documentation.
• Prepare samples, validate processes, and support internal/external audits.
• Collaborate on RFQ cost estimation and global/regional networks.
