Job summary

Vertiv in Mexicali is seeking a Materials Manager to lead materials planning and control for production. You will drive inventory strategies, collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams, and ensure ERP/MRP data accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in materials management, a strong manufacturing background, and proficiency with SAP/Oracle ERP. This role emphasizes continuous improvement and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Experience in materials management, inventory control, or supply chain engineering is required.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and material flow.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement materials management strategies to support production and supply chain goals.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to optimize material usage.
• Analyze material usage trends and forecast future requirements.
• Identify and resolve material shortages, excesses, and obsolescence.
• Support ERP/MRP system configuration and data accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material handling and storage processes.
