Vertiv Co in Mexicali, Mexico, seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to lead material flow optimization and storage across multi-site operations. You will work with Design Engineering, Program Managers, Logistics, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure timely delivery with minimal waste.
The role requires deep expertise in material management, lean methodologies, and digital manufacturing technologies, including simulation and ERP/MRP integration.
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or related field.
- 4–5 years in advanced manufacturing, materials flow, or lean manufacturing.
Responsabilidades
- Lead optimization of material flow and storage across multi-site operations.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven solutions to improve throughput and reduce cost.
- Collaborate with Production, Logistics, Engineering and Purchasing to align material flow with scheduling.
- Design and implement KPI dashboards for real-time material movement tracking.
- Develop SOPs and SOP-driven workflows for efficient receiving to point-of-use movement.
- Lead and participate in Kaizen and Six Sigma DMAIC projects.
- Support digital transformation with Industry 4.0 initiatives and ERP/MRP integration.
