Job summary

Vertiv in Mexico (Tijuana area) seeks a Sr. Manager Materials and Manufacturing Planning to lead strategic materials management and inventory programs across Regions.

Responsibilities include forecast management, S&OP, production and materials planning, and partnering with procurement and logistics to set item plans and improve delivery and ITO. The role leads regional central Logistics Operations and coordinates with Sales Operations, Demand Management, and COEs in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience with increasing responsibilities within Operations and Materials.
• BS degree, Engineering or Business Management; MBA desired.
• Fluent English and strong communication, interpersonal skills.
• Experience in materials planning, S&OP, production planning and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop a consistent capacity and material planning for factories to match demand in the long term.
• Participate in long-range planning and budget preparation.
• Facilitate feedback to S&OP during executive meetings.
• Work with market, manufacturing, finance, procurement, customers and suppliers to meet needs.
• Drive escalation process for availability or cash flow issues.
• Optimize system setup to continuously improve results.
• Support talent management, development and career path for direct reports.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the entire team.
• Communicate vision and strategy for area of responsibility up and down the organization.
