Job summary

Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. is seeking a Materials Manager to lead end-to-end materials planning, inventory control, and logistics at the Aldama Operation in Mexico.

You will collaborate with Operations, Strategic Sourcing, Finance, Quality, Engineering, Sales, and suppliers to translate demand into an executable supply plan and proactively manage constraints. You will own material requirements planning parameters, production schedules, and inventory accuracy, drive working-capital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Five or more years of progressive experience in materials management, planning, production control, logistics, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Three or more years of direct people-leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience with material requirements planning, inventory control, master scheduling, warehousing, supplier delivery management, and customer fulfillment.
• Strong ERP and data-analysis capability; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and supply-chain reporting tools.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, root-cause analysis, continuous improvement, and quality-management systems.
• Professional fluency in Spanish and English, including the ability to communicate effectively with plant, business-unit, customer, and supplier stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site at the Aldama Operation and travel as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end materials planning and inventory management to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Coordinate with operations, sourcing, finance, quality, engineering, sales, and suppliers to translate demand into a supply plan.
• Own material requirements planning parameters and production schedules.
• Manage shortages, capacity constraints, and obsolescence risks.
• Lead improvements in inventory accuracy, turns, and working capital.
• Direct inbound/outbound logistics and warehousing activities.
• Ensure compliance with cross-border Mexico–US supply chains and import/export activities.
