Tenneco Reynosa seeks a Materials Coordinator to support material planning, inventory coordination and cross-functional communication to ensure timely material availability for production and new programs.

You will partner with purchasing, production, quality, engineering and suppliers to maintain material flow, resolve shortages and track material status, delivery timing and issues, while keeping accurate records and reports in the system.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in materials coordination, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP ERP or materials planning systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the flow of materials to support production and program requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and help address material shortages or supply risks.
• Partner with purchasing, production, and suppliers to support material availability on time.
• Track material status, delivery timing, and open issues requiring follow-up.
• Maintain accurate material-related records, reports, and system updates.
• Support new program launch activity by helping align materials readiness with timing requirements.
• Communicate material constraints, risks, and updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with resolving discrepancies related to shipments, inventory, or material availability.
• Help ensure materials processes are followed in alignment with company procedures.
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to material coordination and planning.

About the Role

This role works closely with purchasing, production, quality, engineering, and suppliers to help maintain material flow, resolve shortages, and support operational continuity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP ERP or materials planning systems preferred
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data tracking and reporting
• Ability to work effectively across functions and support changing business priorities
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational discipline
• May be required to support time-sensitive material issues as needed
