Start Page solicita un Materials Planner para gestionar el plan de materiales y coordinar con proveedores en Acuña, Coahuila. Debe garantizar entregas a tiempo, evitar exceso o escasez y optimizar inventarios directos.

Se busca experiencia en MRP/ERP, lectura de planos y uso de MS Office. Se valorará APICS y habilidades de negociación; trabajo principalmente en sitio.

Formación

• Experiencia con SAP/ERP y entendido de procesos MRP.
• Lectura de planos y especificaciones técnicas.
• Competencia en MS Excel y herramientas de oficina.

Responsabilidades

• Planificar y ordenar materiales necesarios para fechas de entrega.
• Gestionar entregas y recepciones conforme a fechas solicitadas.
• Coordinar fechas de PPAP con proveedores y equipo de compra/ingeniería.
• Monitorear desempeño de proveedores y resolver discrepancias de precio/entrega.
• Mantener master de materiales y niveles de inventario acordados.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary

The Materials Planner key responsibility is to expedite or de-expedite direct material and adjust supplier schedules according to the demand plan and assure there’s no excess or shortage of direct material per product demand requirements. Ensure material is delivered on time and maintains reasonable inventory levels. Monitor supplier delivery performance, backlog, and elevate potential supplier delivery issues that place the assembly line at risk of shutting down production.

Essential Functions

• Plans and orders needed material quantities within needed delivery dates
• Ensures good receipts according to requested delivery dates
• Enforces purchasing agreement dates with suppliers
• Ensures optimization of truck load for inbound deliveries
• Manage PPAP expected dates with suppliers. Coordinates efforts between purchasing, engineering, and quality.
• Collaborates In vendor related projects
• Checks order confirmations regarding price and delivery date. Works with purchasing to address discrepancies
• Communicates to suppliers any drawing and/or product specifications changes. Ensures and monitors that supplier received and understood changes and requirements.
• Manage returns to suppliers, debit notes, parts replacements on time.
• Maintains the material master according to MRP fields
• Ensures inventory level per agreed upon targets
• Monitor inventory levels and expedited material as need to avoid production line disruptions
• Controls inbound premium cost and ensure approval process is followedEscalate unsolved backlog issue to assure assembly line is not disrupted
• Support PSA Activities and procedures with team members
• Perform all those activities that by the nature of the position are required.

Management & Supervisory Responsibilities

• Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees.

Knowledge

• SAP/ERP Knowledge
• Blueprint interpretation
• MS Office proficiency

Experience

• 1-3 Years of experience in MRP and ERP systems.
• Procurement exposure of different commodities (stampings, aluminum die casting, plastic injection, grey iron, fasteners…)
• Effective negotiation
• SAP experience (preferred).

Skills

• Solid analytical skills
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Assertiveness
• Sense of urgency
• Excellent communication (English/Spanish)

Education/Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or APICS certification
