BRP, a world leader in recreational vehicles and boats, is seeking a Warehouse Materials Supervisor in Ciudad Juárez to coordinate and supervise material operations, ensuring timely delivery to production lines, overseeing receiving, storage, inventory control, and material movement while aligning with established processes, performance indicators, quality standards, safety requirements, and company policies.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in the Maquiladora Industry.
  • Experience with warehouse and inventory management and control.

Responsabilidades

  • Supervise the timely and accurate receipt of materials (OTIF), ensuring both physical and system compliance for storage.
  • Ensure proper execution of the putaway process (P2000).
  • Maintain inventory control across warehouse locations (IRA).
  • Coordinate cycle count activities.
  • Ensure on-time and accurate delivery of raw materials to assembly lines.
  • Enforce health and safety guidelines among personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with material management processes through monitoring and audits.
  • Conduct risk analyses and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize logistics processes.
  • Monitor area performance indicators related to safety, quality, productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure proper use of SAP for material and inventory transactions.
  • Prepare operational reports and follow up on action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Systems.

Description

Coordinate and supervise material operations to ensure the timely delivery of materials to production lines, overseeing receiving, storage, inventory control, material picking, and material movement activities. Optimize the use of human and material resources through compliance with established processes, performance indicators, quality standards, safety requirements, and company policies.

Coordinate and supervise material operations to ensure the timely delivery of materials to production lines, overseeing receiving, storage, inventory control, material picking, and material movement activities. Optimize the use of human and material resources through compliance with established processes, performance indicators, quality standards, safety requirements, and company policies.

Experience and Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position within the Maquiladora Industry.
Knowledge, Skills, and Certifications
  • SAP knowledge (materials and inventory modules).
  • Warehouse and inventory management and control.
  • Material planning and supply to production lines.
  • Management of internal logistics and materials KPIs.
  • Knowledge of FIFO, Kanban, cycle counts, and inventory control.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, and effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety, quality, and continuous improvement methodologies (5S, Lean Manufacturing, and ISO 9001 preferred).
Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise the timely and accurate receipt of materials (OTIF), ensuring physical and system compliance for storage purposes (<24 hours material registration in the system).
  • Ensure proper execution of the putaway process (P2000).
  • Maintain inventory control across warehouse locations (IRA).
  • Coordinate cycle count activities.
  • Ensure on-time and accurate delivery of raw materials to assembly or manufacturing lines.
  • Enforce health and safety guidelines among operational personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with established material management processes through continuous monitoring and LPA audits.
  • Conduct risk analyses of material management processes and establish containment, preventive, and corrective actions.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize logistics processes.
  • Monitor and improve area performance indicators related to safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Ensure the proper use of SAP for material and inventory transactions.
  • Prepare operational reports and follow up on action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems applicable to the position.
