Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Material Analyst II in Mexico to enable procurement teams through advanced data analysis, ERP reporting, and process optimization. You will manage compliance workflows and support continuous improvement across plants.

Responsibilities include dashboard maintenance, SAP best-practice alignment, and data-driven process improvements using Lean/Quality tools, with monthly governance reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2+ years in Materials Management (planning, procurement, supplier management).
• Strong MS Office skills; advanced Excel (arrays, INDEX/MATCH).
• Experience with Material Requirements Planning tools (SAP).
• Ability to drive continuous improvement with Lean/Quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Work with ERP systems to run reports and monitor dashboard performance.
• Ensure 100% availability of assigned dashboards; troubleshoot data issues.
• Participate in global teams to align SAP best practices across units.
• Update MOQ, UOM, and Payment Terms in Material Master and PIR records.
• Suggest process improvements based on data analysis and compliance requirements.
• Drive monthly/quarterly reviews with plant materials teams for data credibility.
• Use Power Apps for PIR creation and PO price updates across plants.
• Monitor compliance via weekly audit reports and address gaps.
