Molex is seeking a Master Scheduler in Mexico to align customer demand with manufacturing capacity and material availability. You will develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and balance production needs with capacity and inventory objectives.

You will collaborate with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Customer Service, Operations, Purchasing, and Planning teams to drive execution excellence and support business growth while adhering to PBM, Six Sigma, and RBA standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or related manufacturing environment.
• Experience developing and managing Master Production Schedules in a manufacturing operation.
• Knowledge of MRP, capacity planning, inventory management, and production scheduling principles.
• Experience working with ERP systems and advanced planning tools.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain an executable 3- to 6-month Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on finite capacity and material availability.
• Analyze demand, capacity, and material constraints to align production plans with business objectives and customer requirements.
• Optimize the Master Production Schedule by balancing production loading during peak and low demand periods to minimize supply risk.
• Drive resolution of capacity constraints, material shortages, and scheduling conflicts to maximize customer fulfillment and revenue opportunities.
• Balance inventory investment with operational efficiency, considering changeover frequency, labor requirements, training needs, and manufacturing costs.
• Monitor MPS performance and collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve schedule attainment and delivery performance.
• Identify capacity-constrained work centers and coordinate allocation strategies with Operations, Supply Chain Planning, and Customer Service teams.

Your Job

As a Master Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring alignment between customer demand, manufacturing capacity, and material availability. You will develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS), balancing production requirements with operational constraints to ensure reliable supply, optimize inventory, and maximize value creation. This role requires close collaboration across Supply Chain, Customer Service, Operations, Purchasing, and Planning to drive execution excellence and support business growth.

You will work closely with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Customer Service, Sales, Program Management, Purchasing, Production Planning, Operations, the Planning Supervisor, and Materials Management teams. Together, we focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience while optimizing operational performance and supply chain effectiveness.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain an executable 3- to 6-month Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on finite capacity and material availability.
• Analyze demand, capacity, and material constraints to align production plans with business objectives and customer requirements.
• Optimize the Master Production Schedule by balancing production loading during both peak and low demand periods to minimize supply risk.
• Drive resolution of capacity constraints, material shortages, and scheduling conflicts to maximize customer fulfillment and revenue opportunities.
• Balance inventory investment with operational efficiency, considering changeover frequency, labor requirements, training needs, and manufacturing costs.
• Partner with Production Planners to define and maintain finished goods inventory strategies, including safety stock levels and available days of supply.
• Monitor MPS performance and collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve schedule attainment and delivery performance.
• Identify capacity-constrained work centers and coordinate allocation strategies with Operations, Supply Chain Planning, and Customer Service teams.
• Review and maintain finished goods lead times, ensuring alignment with planning strategies such as Make-to-Stock (MTS), Make-to-Forecast (MTF), Assemble-to-Order (ATO), and Make-to-Order (MTO).
• Maintain and continuously improve planning parameters to enhance planning accuracy and system performance.
• Track and support key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
  • Customer Requested Date (CRD) on-time delivery performance
  • Plant past-due performance
  • Master Production Schedule attainment
  • Finished goods inventory quality
  • Inventory days of supply
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on supply chain performance, inventory optimization, and operational excellence.
• Understand, support, and actively contribute to compliance with the Koch Principle Based Management (PBM®) philosophy, Quality Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, Safety and Health requirements, Six Sigma initiatives, Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) standards, and CTPAT/OEA requirements while following established policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, supply chain planning, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Experience developing and managing Master Production Schedules in a manufacturing operation.
• Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), capacity planning, inventory management, and production scheduling principles.
• Experience working with ERP systems and advanced planning tools.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence business decisions through data-driven recommendations.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience within the electronics manufacturing industry.
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent).
• Experience supporting high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of S&OP, demand planning, and supply planning processes.
• Experience with SAP or other integrated ERP systems.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience.
