Job summary

EquipNet seeks an experienced Field Service Engineer to support SCIEX and Waters mass spectrometry systems across the region. You will provide remote and on-site service for LC-MS, GC-MS, and TOF instrumentation, ensuring peak uptime and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5+ years of field service experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel up to 25% with a valid driver's license. Local candidate preferred for Cerritos, CA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on field service experience with SCIEX and Waters mass spectrometry systems.
• Experience with TOF instrumentation is required.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (GLP/GMP, ISO, FDA) is a plus.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 25% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote and on-site technical support for LC-MS and GC-MS instrumentation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on mass spectrometry platforms.
• Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and IQ/OQ/PQ validation.
• Lead installation and qualification of new LC-MS, GC-MS, and TOF systems.
• Maintain service logs and documentation; train laboratory personnel.
