A leading energy solutions provider is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist in Nuevo León, Mexico. You will manage quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with regulations, identify risks, and lead investigations. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in engineering and has over 5 years of experience in quality assurance within manufacturing. Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. How you will make an impact
  • You will execute quality assurance processes throughout the product lifecycle to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards, will manage product regulatory requirements and customer quality expectations, ensuring clear communication and integration into factory processes.
  • You will proactively identify, manage, and mitigate product and process quality risks using systematic approaches like Failure Modes and Effects Analysis and will design and implement standardized processes and quality systems to prevent errors and enhance product quality.
  • You will lead the investigation and resolution of quality issues through structured problem‑solving and corrective actions also contribute to audits, inspections, and verifications to ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  • You will develop and implement control plans to monitor and maintain quality throughout production, driving continuous improvement and promote a Zero‑Defect Mindset by supporting training programs and fostering a culture of proactive error identification and resolution.
  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
  • You hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (e.g., ISO).
  • Proficiency in failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), advanced product quality planning (APQP), and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement executive solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across various teams and levels of the organization.
