Hitachi Energy Productos de Mexico in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Production Process Engineer to design, optimize, and implement world‑class manufacturing processes that boost efficiency, quality, and productivity.

You will lead Industry 4.0 initiatives, automate and integrate new technologies, collaborate with engineering, quality, production and R&D teams, and drive data‑driven decisions while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Formación

  • 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering in high-volume environments.
  • Strong Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma foundations with improvement project experience.
  • Experience with automation, Industry 4.0, IoT, and data-driven manufacturing systems.
  • Proven design, optimization, validation and project leadership in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM, ERP/MES, SPC, and data analysis tools.

  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation solutions.
  • Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve operational efficiency and performance.
  • Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for throughput and quality gains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new products into manufacturing operations.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Evaluate emerging manufacturing technologies and support equipment selection via data-driven assessments.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and process flow diagrams.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor colleagues in continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering within a high-volume production environment.

  • Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies; Green Belt or Black Belt certification is an advantage.

  • Experience with automation, robotics, Industry 4.0 technologies, IoT, and data-driven manufacturing systems.

  • Proven success in process design, optimization, validation, and engineering project leadership.

  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software, ERP/MES systems, statistical process control, and manufacturing data analysis tools.
