Hitachi Energy in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, is seeking an Operations Superintendent for a single‑phase transformer factory to own end‑to‑end production performance, including safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost (SQDIC). You will lead daily production activities and drive improvements across shifts to deliver reliable products on time.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing with at least 2 years in people leadership, plus experience in transformer or electrical equipment

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of progressive manufacturing experience.
• 2+ years in a people leadership role.
• Experience in transformer or electrical equipment manufacturing preferred (single‑phase oil‑filled or dry‑type highly valued).
• Working knowledge of production planning, capacity management, and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong skills in problem solving, root cause analysis, Lean, and EHS practices.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, and control daily production activities to meet targets.
• Deliver performance across SQDIC: safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost.
• Balance staffing, equipment capacity, and material availability across shifts.
• Track and improve KPIs such as units per day, on‑time delivery, scrap, rework, and yield.
• Lead a strong EHS culture, including investigations and corrective actions.
• Partner with Quality/Test to reduce defects, improve first‑pass yield, and resolve nonconformances.
• Drive Lean initiatives—5S, standard work, visual management, Kaizen—to improve flow and productivity.
• Monitor and improve OEE while supporting cost reduction and budget goals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
