Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks a Purchasing Supervisor to support supplier schedulers, ensure on-time material delivery, and monitor KPIs.

You will participate in production meetings, escalate issues, and coordinate with global and regional teams to resolve delivery, pricing, and invoicing concerns. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or 5 years in purchasing, fluent English, SAP experience, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience in purchasing/supply chain.
• Direct buyer experience in manufacturing (metal-mechanic, refrigeration, electronic or HVAC).
• Experience with Purchasing, Planning and Production areas.
• Fluent English.
• Knowledge of MRP and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Support Suppliers Schedulers to meet purchasing KPIs.
• Analyze MRP demand and replenish stocks for coverage.
• Analyze Clear to Build and ensure timely POs.
• Push for PO confirmations/ETAs from vendors.
• Attend daily production meetings and manage exceptions.
• Escalate past-due orders and communicate risks to Planning/Production.
• Monitor vendor performance and on-time delivery.
• Analyze inventory levels and support warehouse/logistics teams.
• Participate in ISO audits and safety initiatives.
• Develop and update procedures and work instructions.
