Job summary

Flex seeks a Project Manager in Guadalajara, North Campus, reporting to the Sr Director Operations. The role drives complex projects to meet cost, delivery, and quality targets, overseeing DNA strategy and cross-site transfers between manufacturing sites.

The position requires strong industrial engineering background and advanced English proficiency. Responsibilities include defining schedules and budgets, coordinating cross-functional teams, analyzing data, and delivering status reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering.
Significant experience in a similar role managing projects.
Knowledge of CPS, facility layouts, and space planning.
Knowledge of manufacturing projects and processes (SMT, molding, metal fabrication).
Advanced English proficiency.
Familiarity with business-level project management processes and methodologies.
Strong understanding of Industrial Engineering principles and practices.
Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

Establish project schedule, financial parameters, and technical requirements, managing project from initiation through transfer.
Communicate customer requirements, specifications, project schedule, and budget constraints to cross-functional teams, including engineers, senior management, and consultants.
Gather, consolidate & analyze data from Industrial engineering team.
Assess causes of problems and provide technical support and direction to project team to resolve issues.
Develop status reports, including project financials, ensuring project team is meeting customer requirements and measuring cost control.
Maintain project plan documents, procedures, and project deliverables.
Conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc.
Assist in the management of larger projects/programs.
Provide advice to lower-level Project/Product Managers to achieve goals in accordance with established policies.
Recommend changes to policies which may affect subordinate organization(s).
Interact frequently with customers and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management; frequently interact with middle management and professionals.
