Job summary

Oferta confidencial seeks a process engineer to support and improve manufacturing processes in Mexicali. You will apply statistical methods to prevent problems, perform 8D analyses, and implement corrective actions across core tools such as PFMEA and PCP, coordinating with design and vendors to enhance yield and efficiency.

The role requires 2–5 years in process engineering, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong English (85%). SAP knowledge and Six Sigma belt are advantageous for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, electronics, mechatronics or mechanical engineering (required).
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a process engineer.
• English proficiency at a level of 85% (written and verbal).
• ERPs knowledge preferable SAP.
• Six Sigma green belt (preferable).
• Communication Skills.

Responsibilities

• Support operations to solve problems in the manufacturing processes.
• Prevention of problems utilizing statistical analysis.
• 8D’s, root cause analysis and corrective actions implementation.
• Core tools implementation (PF, PFMEA, PCP, etc)
• Line/ Cell time balance to improve efficiency.
• Responsible of operation procedures and statistical control.
• Establish projects to improve yield and efficiency.
• Close communication with product design, vendors and internal departments.
• Layout changes to improve process/ release space for other products.
• Improvements projects, participation in product transfers.
• Achieve established department KPI’s.
