Job summary

HARMAN is seeking a results-driven Manufacturing Operations Manager for our site in Tijuana. You will lead safety, quality, delivery and cost indicators, build cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement across production lines.

The role requires a Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Manufacturing experience, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and 5+ years of management in manufacturing. English fluency is a plus, and you will collaborate with global teams to meet ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification required.
• Lean Manufacturing experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 5+ years of management experience in manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the planning, approval, review and implementation process of strategies and policies regarding general manufacturing.
• Establish multidisciplinary teams to work on continuous improvement.
• Identity and implement improvements to reduce waste.
• Support quality systems and environmental management implemented in the company.
• Formulate short-and long-term to be consistent with the strategies and policies of the business.
• Selects develop and motivate the company's management talent to optimize operational performance and promote growth.
• Support the development of new products and process capability to ensure continuous improvement.
• Participate on rising engagement between the corporation and the plant management to establish the necessary interaction to achieve both individual goals and objectives.
