Job summary

Flextronics in Guadalajara, Mexico, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations, staffing, and inventory to achieve operational excellence.

You will oversee assembly operations, coordinate with other sites, ensure ISO and safety standards, and report to senior management. The role requires a BA/BS or equivalent, intermediate English, and leadership in electronics manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Intermediate English level.
• Knowledge of production control systems (serials, flows, traceability).
• Experience in electronic manufacturing.
• People management experience.
• Knowledge of SMT, Test, and integration in electronics assembly.
• Ability to present information clearly to groups of managers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing and inventory levels.
• Oversee assembly operations to meet KOI.
• Supervise production staff on methods and quality checks.
• Coordinate with other departments and Flex sites.
• Coordinate procurement, production and engineering services policies.
• Ensure ISO and safety standards are followed.
• Report to Senior Management in weekly operations reviews.
• Coach and mentor Operations team.
• Leverage industry practices in internal systems and processes.
• Implement HR strategies to recruit and retain a qualified workforce.
