Baxter International Inc. in Mexico's manufacturing hub seeks an experienced manufacturing engineer to integrate existing processes and drive improvements in mechanical device production.

You will lead Margin Improvement Projects, manage plans, validate processes, and coordinate with procurement and cross-functional teams to meet cost and quality goals. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and strong English proficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with problem-solving, project management, Lean, Six Sigma (preferred).
• Experience in ISO/FDA-regulated environments and GMP.
• Experience writing and executing IQ/SV/OQ/PQ validations.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage Margin Improvement Projects (MIP) in line with plant plan and department commitments.
• Ensure timely and effective implementation of projects while protecting manufacturing lines.
• Identify opportunities for MIP projects through self-initiated ideas related to raw materials and device manufacturing, assessing feasibility and savings.
• Collaborate with Procurement to manage material/quotes for evaluations.
• Lead Workshops, Kaizen, and VAVE events for MIP ideas and coordinate cross-functional follow-up.
• Lead project planning and direct portions of smaller or segments of larger projects.
