Baxter Healthcare in Tijuana, Baja California, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II to lead and support the integration of manufacturing processes transferred from other Baxter sites while driving continuous improvement across existing operations.

This role combines technical problem-solving, project leadership, and process optimization to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and operational performance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, relevant field preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, process development, or continuous improvement in regulated environments.
• Experience leading validation of end-to-end manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with IQ/OQ/PQ methodologies is highly desired.

Responsabilidades

• Lead transfer and integration of manufacturing processes from other Baxter facilities with validation and readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase productivity, yield, and reduce scrap.
• Design and implement tools, fixtures, inspection equipment, and process improvements.
• Analyze data, identify trends, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Plan capacity strategies including equipment, labor, space, and maintenance considerations.
• Lead or contribute to IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate with suppliers, operations, quality, and cross-functional teams on engineering projects.
