Vertiv in Monterrey, MX seeks a Senior Finance Manager to lead the plant's manufacturing finance functions. You will manage a team, deliver strategic reporting, and maintain robust internal controls over spending, workforce planning, and inventory.

The role partners with plant leadership to drive cost optimization, improve KPI performance, and ensure accurate monthly and annual financial results. Strong ERP and Excel skills, plus 10+ years in manufacturing finance, are required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or Accounting;
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing finance including financial and operations leadership
• Advanced knowledge of operational metrics, cost accounting, and inventory management
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Proficient English communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly in both written and verbal formats.

Responsabilidades

• Act as trusted advisor to plant manager and operations leadership.
• Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Lead strategic planning and KPI target setting for Plant Operations teams.
• Maintain shop floor presence to understand processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional value stream mapping or plant transformation projects to drive efficiency and cost optimization.
• Partner with plant leadership to identify cost drivers and track savings realization.
• Participate in production meetings and problem-solving sessions.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships across shop floor to senior leadership.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Accountable for plant manufacturing financials including conversion costs, logistics, warehousing, inventory, and capex.
• Robust financial controls over spending, workforce, and inventory while maintaining flexibility.
• Analyze financial performance and trends to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via cycle counts and inventories; collaborate with supply chain.
• Oversee capital expenditures with ROI analysis and robust business cases.
• Translate shop floor observations into actionable financial insights.
• Provide reporting on manufacturing plant KPI’s to assess efficiency.
• Interlock with Plant & Regional Management on forecasts for labor, expenses, and inventory.
• Lead cost reduction programs with production teams.
• Provide ad hoc analytical support as a business partner to Operations and Finance.
