Leviton is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager in Chihuahua, Mexico to lead product development and manufacturing transfers for electronics products. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage ECRs, CAPA, and cost reporting.

The role requires strong knowledge of DFMs, DFAs, PFMEA, control plans, and ISO/IATF standards, with expertise in Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and SPC analytics. Fluent English is preferred and electronics manufacturing experience is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a leading engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes for electronic products.
• Experience in product development management, ECRs, and cost reporting.
• Experience with DFM, DFA, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
• Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (automotive electronics), IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001).
• Root cause analysis and CAPA/Failure Analysis.
• Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and OEE.
• SPC, data analysis, and reporting; ERP/MES/Minitab software

Bachelor's degree on Engineering or related field of study Minimum 3 years of experience in a leading position for engineering Strong knowledge on manufacturing process for electronical products Management of product development, ECR’s Management, Continuous improvement initiatives, cost reporting and manufacturing transitions. Conversational English is a must Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM), design for Assembly (DFA), PFMEA, Control Plans. Previous manage of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (automotive electronics), IPC Standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001), Root Cause Analysis, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and Failure Analysis Strong knowledge of improvement skills such as Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) Knowledge of a analytical skills Statistical process control (SPC), Data analysis and reporting, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), MES systems, Minitab or similar statistical software, Microsoft Excel
