Job summary

Amphenol CMT - Critical Medical Technologies in Mexico seeks a manufacturing leader to run injection molding operations, delivering safe, stable, and cost‑effective production. You will own sustaining performance and capacity improvements across production, quality, tooling, NPD, maintenance, and supply chain.

• Lead manufacturing/process engineering and production technical support for released products.
• Improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, OEE, labor efficiency, scrap, cycle time, and machine utilization.
• Own operational and product quality through controlled processes and validated parameters.
• Lead structured problem-solving using RCA, DOE, SPC, PFMEA, and capability analysis.
• Reduce recurring defects, downtime, startup scrap and production interruptions.
• Develop capacity models and recommend actions related to equipment, tooling, automation, staffing or scheduling.
• Deliver productivity and cost-reduction projects with validated financial impact.
• Lead customer investigations, containment, corrective actions; escalate quality risks with Quality.
• Develop engineers, technicians, and production leaders through coaching and succession planning.
• Partner with NPD engineering and tooling to transfer new programs into production.

MOLDING INJECTION EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.

Lead the technical and operational performance of injection molding manufacturing to deliver safe, stable, capable, and cost-effective production. The role owns sustaining process performance, operational excellence, capacity improvement, technical problem-solving, and organizational capability, partnering with production, quality, tooling, NPD, maintenance, supply chain, and finance.

• Lead manufacturing/process engineering and production technical support for released products.
• Improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, OEE, labor efficiency, scrap, cycle time, and machine utilization executing cross validation strategies.
• Own operational and product quality through capable, controlled, documented processes, validated parameters, control plans, and specification compliance.
• Lead structured problem-solving using RCA, doe, spc, PFMEA, and capability analysis.
• Reduce recurring defects, downtime, startup scrap, process variation, and production interruptions.
• Develop capacity models and recommend equipment, tooling, automation, staffing, or scheduling actions.
• Deliver measurable productivity and cost-reduction projects with validated financial impact.
• Lead customer investigations, containment, and verified corrective actions; escalate quality risks and coordinate product disposition with Quality.
• Develop engineers, technicians, and production leaders through coaching, qualification, and succession planning.
