OmniOn Power Inc. in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Plant Engineering organization and drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

You will develop and optimize high-volume manufacturing processes, lead automation initiatives, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to sustain production excellence. The role requires 8+ years in manufacturing engineering, 3+ years of leadership, and experience with NPI and Lean/Six Sigma practices.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field is required.
• Master’s degree in Engineering or MBA is preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience.
• 3+ years of engineering leadership or management experience.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and production systems.
• Experience with NPI and production ramp-up.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement.
• Experience managing capital projects and engineering budgets.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, develop, and manage the Plant Engineering organization and set priorities.
• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for high-volume production.
• Improve manufacturing flow, line balancing, ergonomics, and standard work.
• Support Operations in achieving production, quality, and productivity targets.
• Develop and execute the plant’s automation strategy and pursue robotics opportunities.
• Ensure equipment meets capacity, quality, reliability, and safety standards; model capacity needs.
• Identify capacity constraints and develop mitigation plans.
• Lead Engineering during New Product Introduction activities and DFx reviews.
• Drive cost reduction programs and ROI analyses.
• Partner with Quality to improve process capability and compliance with ISO/UL/CE standards.
