Job summary

BekaertDeslee group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Lead to guide the design, development, and optimization of production processes. You will oversee existing systems, drive efficiency gains, and ensure quality across cutting and sewing operations.

You’ll lead cross-functional teams, implement new technologies, and manage ramp-ups while maintaining strong adherence to standards and continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably in textile or sewn products.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing Engineering team to design, develop, and optimize production processes.
• Oversee and optimize existing production systems for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Coordinate time and motion studies, standard work, and DPM participation.
• Drive continuous improvement and problem solving to reduce waste and variation.
• Lead development and implementation of new manufacturing technologies and methods.
• Design and optimize production equipment, lines, and conveyors for cutting and sewing.
• Ensure process controls and quality standards are met across production.
• Develop and optimize cutting programs to maximize material utilization.
