Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to act as a liaison between management and manufacturing teams, focusing on lean processes, quality, and cost reductions across production areas. The role involves supporting processes, documentation, and safety improvements while driving projects and training initiatives.

The candidate will analyze trends, balance line efficiency, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure compliance with company procedures and global standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of four years of high-level manufacturing/engineering experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (read, write, speak).
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
• Desirable experience with MRP/Enterprise systems in Eng/Manufacturing.
• Experience drafting tools such as PRO-E, AutoCAD or similar.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trends and metrics with Management to develop solutions and procedures.
• Reduce bottlenecks and improve lean processes in paint booths and production areas.
• Collaborate with Safety and Health to ensure ergonomic and safe tooling and fixtures.
• Generate cost-reduction ideas through process design and equipment acquisition.
• Provide day-to-day guidance on changes impacting production, quality, or safety.
