Motus Integrated Technologies in Arteaga, Coahuila, Mexico is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to analyze new manufacturing processes, plan resources, and establish manufacturing and quality principles for new projects at the plant.

You will optimize production by considering quality, safety, cost and productivity, maintain ERP BOM information, coordinate engineering changes, perform customer validation tests, and drive continuous improvement in line with IATF 16949 standards.

Formación

• MS Project knowledge for project scheduling.
• Knowledge of Core Tools methodologies.
• Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Experience with capacity analysis and line balancing.
• IATF 16949 awareness.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze feasibility of new manufacturing processes and plan resources.
• Develop work methods to optimize production and reduce scrap costs.
• Ensure compliance with product launches and related activities.
• Optimize processes considering Quality, Safety, Cost, Productivity, Ergonomics and Environment.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement of production processes.
• Maintain ERP system data, including BOM updates.
• Coordinate and communicate engineering changes requested by customers or internally.
• Execute customer validation tests and coordinate with production for implementation.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure IATF 16949 compliance.

Position Tittle: Manufacturing Engineer

Reports to: Launch Manager

Work Location: Arteaga, Coahuila, Mexico

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze the feasibility of implementing new manufacturing processes, as well as plan and allocate the human and material resources required to establish the manufacturing and quality principles for new projects at the plant.
• Develop and design work methods aimed at optimizing production processes and minimizing scrap-related costs, in accordance with established objectives.
• Ensure compliance with and follow-up on all activities related to product launches.
• Optimize production processes by considering Quality, Safety, Cost, Productivity, Ergonomics, and Environmental aspects, ensuring the successful launch of new products in accordance with the plant’s established goals and performance indicators.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives for production processes.
• Maintain manufacturing process information up to date in the ERP system, including BOM (Bill of Materials) updates.
• Effectively communicate, coordinate, and follow up on engineering changes requested by customers or generated internally.
• Execute the validation tests required by customers and coordinate with production areas to implement and validate specifications associated with product or process changes.
• Manage and maintain up-to-date documentation generated by the department and the company, ensuring compliance with the requirements established by the IATF 16949 standard.
