Caterpillar Inc. in Mexico seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to analyze processes, lead improvements, and support capital projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, cost, and productivity objectives.

Ideal candidates have a BS in engineering and hands-on machining experience, plus Six Sigma knowledge and strong communication. This role offers opportunities for growth within a global leader in heavy equipment manufacturing.

Formación

• BS degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electronic Engineering.
• 80% English level, written and oral communication.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Machining programming and processes including turning, milling, multi-axis and grinding.
• Negotiation with Customers and prioritization skills.
• Provides effective communication and services in solving production problems or pursuing operations improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes.
• Monitoring equipment and process reliability; identifying and addressing problem areas.
• Providing coaching and development for operations technical staff and support areas.
• Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.
• Supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions for production, quality, safety, or process issues.

Role Definition: Assists with technical analysis of manufacturing processes in all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance to safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for manufacturing. Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of Caterpillar Reman products Certified Six Sigma Green Belt. Project Management advanced skills leading capital projects in manufacturing environments. Knowledge of machining processes, CNC equipment, tooling, fixtures, and process optimization. Knowledge of process capability, statistical analysis, and manufacturing performance indicators.
