Role Definition: Assists with technical analysis of manufacturing processes in all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance to safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for manufacturing. Supports the identification and implementation of process improvements focused on productivity, quality, safety, and cost reduction within manufacturing operations. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to analyze production issues, define corrective actions, and ensure process standards are followed consistently. Leading or supporting capital projects with business impact, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity objectives.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Participating in identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes. Monitoring equipment and process reliability; identifying and addressing problem areas. Providing coaching and development for operations technical staff and support areas. Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities. Supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions for production, quality, safety, or process issues.
BS degree in Industrial,Mechanic,Mechatronic or Electronic Engineer 80% English level, written and oral communication 3+ years of relevant experience in Machining programming and processes including turning, milling, multi-axis and grinding Negotiation with Customers and prioritization skills Provides effective communication and services in solving production problems or pursuing operations improvements
Knowledge of Caterpillar Reman products Certified Six Sigma Green Belt. Project Management advanced skills leading capital projects in manufacturing environments. Knowledge of machining processes, CNC equipment, tooling, fixtures, and process optimization. Knowledge of process capability, statistical analysis, and manufacturing performance indicators.
