ZF Group is seeking an Engineering Advance Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead development and implementation of robust manufacturing solutions for electric steering systems. The role collaborates with IE, design, program management, quality assurance and production to drive processes across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include supplier management, asset launches, and adherence to global standards for steering assembly.

Formación

• Master/Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong skillset and experience in developing and implementing robust manufacturing and assembly solutions.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of automotive manufacturing technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.
• Data analysis orientated.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Development of Robust & Standard manufacturing solutions for electric steering systems and components, in close collaboration with Core and Application IE
• Implementation of the above solutions, meeting all internal and customer milestones successfully.
• Managing external and ZF in-house equipment suppliers to meet the safety, quality and performance requirements on-time and within budget
• Follow the Operation Launch Management required activities and Gate Reviews for all new and refurbished assets.
• Supporting the Queretaro plant resources in installation, debugging, validation, production ramp-up, SOP through serial production and Hand over.
• Work closely with Div CE Operations Management to define, improve, and promote implementation of global standards for steering assembly and manufacturing
• Liaise with other functions to ensure system-level compliance to all relevant customer and regulatory requirements

About the team:
Opportunity to join a global team responsible for defining world-class manufacturing processes for automotive electric steering systems. ZF Division CE Steering is a nearly 7€ billion division within the ZF Group. Electric Front and Rear steering systems and components are manufactured in 9 plants countries across Europe, North America, South America, and Asia-Pacific. In North America, all manufacturing and assembly processes for steering systems and components are consolidated in the Queretaro, MX plant.
With the rapid advance of autonomous driving technology, robust, efficient, and reliable manufacturing processes are crucial to achieving cost and profitability targets in a highly competitive environment.
This role involves collaboration with Global Industrial Engineering (IE) Team, product design engineering, program management, quality assurance, and production operations teams to develop and implement robust manufacturing processes for current and future generations of electric steering systems in North America - from concept through serial production.

Your Profile as Engineering Advance Manufacturing Engineering Manager:
