ZF Group in Toluca, Mexico is seeking a Launch Engineer to drive the APQP process for new automotive programs from concept to SOP. You will coordinate with manufacturing, quality, purchasing and logistics to implement customer requirements on the shopfloor and manage engineering changes as needed.

The role requires a bachelor degree in engineering, 5+ years in automotive program launches, and strong communication skills in English.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial) required.
• 5+ years of experience launching new automotive programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English required.

Responsabilidades

• Apply APQP methodology for new programs and engineering changes; maintain ENGIS system.
• Review client sites and feed information when required.
• Coordinate implementation in shopfloor of specific customer requirements.
• Engineering changes: request deviations and engineering changes from the customer.
• In charge of all the technical implementation (manufacture, quality, purchasing, logistics) to ensure the SOP from a manufacturing perspective.

What you can look forward as Launch Engineer

• To apply the APQP methodology for new programs and engineering changes, maintain the ENGIS system.

Your profile as Launch Engineer

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering /Mechanical or Industrial.
• 5+ years of experience in launching of new programs for automotive business
• Excellent Communications Skills.
• Fluent in English is a must
• Minimum 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment
• Good written and oral communications skills
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• MS project desirable
• Ability to prioritize and schedule daily tasks, ability to effectively facilitate teams.
