ESAB in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico is seeking an experienced maintenance specialist to troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. You will dismantle, repair and assemble machinery, read layouts and manuals, and use test equipment to verify performance.

With 7+ years of experience you may lead a team or act as a subject matter expert, applying judgment to determine methods for new assignments and driving continuous improvements.

Formación

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in electro-mechanical equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read layouts, blueprints, operating or repair manuals.
• Proficient with test and diagnostic equipment and checkouts.
• May act as team lead or SME for the work area.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, dismantle, repair and assemble electro-mechanical equipment.
• Perform equipment checkouts using test and diagnostic tools.
• Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required and modify as directed by engineers.
• Contribute to development of concepts and techniques; apply initiative on new assignments.

Job Description:

Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required. May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.Extensive knowledge in specialized function. Contributes to the development of concepts and techniques. Assignments are complex and require judgement and initiative. May act independently to determine methods and procedures for new assignments. May be a team leader or considered a subject matter expert for their work area. Typically requires a minimum of 7+ years of experience.
