ESAB Corporation in Hermosillo, Sonora, is seeking a senior technician to troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment used in our manufacturing process. You will dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble components according to layouts, blueprints and manuals, and use test and diagnostic gear to perform checkouts.

Role includes potential equipment modifications directed by engineers, contributing to concept development, and applying judgement on complex assignments.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to dismantle, repair, assemble and adjust equipment per layouts, blueprints or manuals.

Job Description

Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.

Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required.

May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers. Extensive knowledge in specialized function. Contributes to the development of concepts and techniques. Assignments are complex and require judgement and initiative. May act independently to determine methods and procedures for new assignments. May be a team leader or considered a subject matter expert for their work area.

Typically requires a minimum of 7+ years of experience.
